Structure
As an independent church it is important that we maintain a leadership structure that is both Biblical and practical
For Fresh Church this means that our leadership team comprises of an Eldership who are responsible for the spiritual leadership of the Church, one of whom is the Pastor.
The practical and business aspects of the church are managed by a body of capable men and women that we call the Diaconate.
Together they form the Executive Council, the name we give to our charity trustees. Overall these bodies are answerable to the general meeting of the church membership as we believe the Scriptures require.
Eldership
Terry Durose
Pastor
Terry and Janet were called into the Christian Ministry in 1995. They have two grown up children Hannah and Austin, both who have married.
After serving Oldham Bethel Church for seven years they, along with a team of about twenty others responded to the call to plant a church in Moorside. Terry and Janet also serve Manchester City Mission, Terry as the Director, and Janet as Administration Manager. Janet also serves on the diaconate and as Fresh Kids Leader.

Before joining Fresh Church Steve and his wife Christine led the Elim Church in Oldham. Both retired, they have two grown up children and two grandchildren. As an Elder, Steve is part of the preaching team and Christine serves as a deacon, and a Fresh Kids Leader.
